About HeaderLume
HeaderLume is an on-device email forensics application for macOS. It parses raw RFC-5322 headers, traces a message's transit route hop by hop, reports the SPF, DKIM, DMARC and ARC results recorded in the message's Authentication-Results header, and generates PDF analysis certificates on the examiner's Mac. Hop geolocation and domain registration age are looked up online by default, and the Zero Telemetry switch turns those lookups off. It is built for forensic examiners, litigation and eDiscovery teams, incident responders, and law enforcement: anyone whose findings must survive cross-examination.
HeaderLume is built by ProfWorkBench, LLC and distributed exclusively on the Mac App Store. Analysis runs on the examiner's Mac inside the macOS App Sandbox — no accounts, no tracking, no cloud processing. Three optional lookups (hop geolocation, domain registration age, attachment reputation) are each named in Settings, and the Zero Telemetry switch turns off all three in one move. The app is localized in 15 languages.
